This is my first Quilt stone (A quilt is a multi-layered textile, traditionally composed of three layers of fiber: a woven cloth top, a layer of batting or wadding, and a woven back, combined using the technique of quilting )
I started by making a big mozaiek from small pieces of stone that where leftovers from other projects.
then i cut the mozaiek to pieces and stacked them back in 5 layeres (3 on top of each other and 1 layer on two sides )
It was exiting to see which colours and paterns emerged when i made the final shape in the stone.
